Mike’s Biography

I am a former wrestler and coach who has been privileged to officiate youth and high school wrestling since 2007. For the past ten years, my primary duties have been focused in New Hampshire. I’ve also had the opportunity to work as a mat official throughout New England, as well as at large regional competitions in several eastern states.

An alumnus of the traditional powerhouse Lowell High School Wrestling program, I had the good fortune of training under legendary coach George Bossi. As a parent, I had the pleasure of coaching in the Chelmsford Youth Wrestling program. There, I enjoyed making enduring memories with many parents, coaches, and wrestlers, including my three sons.

Nowadays, the sport of wrestling has blossomed in New Hampshire and throughout New England. The growth of wrestling clubs and the advent of girls wrestling are especially exciting developments for the sport in our region. I’m looking forward to continuing to serve the wrestling community in the years ahead. The future is bright for New Hampshire Wrestling !
